Professional Career

I studied Medicine at the Catholic University of Rome in Italy, where I graduated with the highest honours.

My passion for surgery and commitment to medical excellence led me to continue my professional career in the Netherlands.

I completed my training in general surgery at Martini Hospital and the University Medical Center Groningen, successfully qualifying in 2024.

In addition, I obtained my doctorate in surgery from Utrecht University in 2023.

My ambition to continue developing professionally and provide the highest possible standard of care took me to Germany, where I began specialising in the treatment of lipedema using the LIPOCURA® concept. After completing training in Munich at Klinik Mednord and in Hamburg at Elbklinik, I returned to the Netherlands to introduce the LIPOCURA® concept into clinical practice.

Since 2025, I have worked as a surgeon at LIPOCURA® in the Netherlands, with a focus on the treatment of lipedema.

I am a member of the Dutch Society for Surgery (NVvH).
