Taking Responsibility: Our Commitment to Research & Education

We see it as our responsibility to do more for those living with lipedema, which is why we systematically share our knowledge through training, lectures and studies. We work closely with national and international universities and institutions.

In 2017, we founded EuSoLip, an association dedicated to:

  • Research into lipedema as a medical condition
  • Promoting networking between experts across Europe
  • Funding and publishing studies
  • Entering into research collaborations

We are currently supporting the University of Leipzig with tissue samples for research into adipocytes.

You are also welcome to read our publication on macroscopic evidence in clinical examination as a diagnostic marker of lipedema. The study was carried out in close collaboration with our specialists at LIPOCURA®.
