London has no shortage of liposuction. It has very few surgeons who treat lipedema as the medical condition it is. That difference is the whole reason this clinic exists.
We are not a cosmetic clinic with a lipedema page. Every consultation, every operation and every follow-up in this clinic is for lipedema. Across the LIPOCURA® clinics we carry out more than 2,000 procedures a year, and the method behind them has been refined over more than fifteen years in Germany and across Europe.
Lipedema sits alongside the lymphatic system, and damaging it makes the condition worse. We use lymph-sparing techniques designed to remove diseased tissue while protecting lymphatic structures, under general anaesthetic, in a hospital setting.
Consultations and procedures take place at Harley Health Village, 64 Harley Street, a CQC registered facility in the heart of London’s medical district. Your overnight stay after surgery is in the same building.
You are given a Care Coordinator from your first call. They stay with you through consultation, scheduling, surgery and recovery, so you are never explaining your history to someone new.
Assessment includes sonography and 3D body scanning where appropriate, so the diagnosis and the treatment plan rest on measurement rather than impression.

Surgery for the legs, arms and abdomen, planned around your disease pattern rather than area by area. Most patients complete treatment in two to three procedures.
Plasma skin tightening with Renuvion®, or surgical skin tightening, where skin quality after volume reduction makes it clinically appropriate.
Revision work for patients who have had lipedema surgery elsewhere and are left with an incomplete or uneven result.
An overnight stay at Harley Health Village, manual lymphatic drainage the morning after surgery, your compression garments, a 24/7 contact line in the days after your operation, and scheduled follow-up.
Most people are nervous before a first appointment, usually because previous ones have gone badly. Here is exactly how ours works, so there are no surprises.
By phone or WhatsApp. You describe what you are experiencing, we talk through whether specialist assessment is likely to help, and you ask anything you want before committing to anything.
By video or phone. We go through your symptom history, how your body has changed, what you have already tried, and how lipedema is treated.

The procedure price covers your surgeon and surgical team, the operating theatre, general anaesthesia and your anaesthetist, your overnight stay at Harley Health Village, manual lymphatic drainage the morning after surgery, your compression garments and your scheduled follow-up. Theatre, anaesthesia and the overnight stay are built into the price rather than added later.

Underground and rail
The nearest Underground stations are Regent’s Park on the Bakerloo line, about a five minute walk, and Oxford Circus on the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria lines, about ten minutes. Great Portland Street and Bond Street are both a short walk away. If you are travelling in from outside London, Marylebone, Euston and King’s Cross St Pancras are all a short taxi or Underground journey from the clinic. Several bus routes stop on Marylebone Road and Regent Street.
Taxi and rideshare
Black cabs and rideshare services can drop you directly outside 64 Harley Street. The address is easy to reach from anywhere in central London, and it is the simplest option for appointments after surgery.
Driving and parking
The clinic sits inside the Congestion Charge zone, and on-street parking in Marylebone is limited and metered. Most patients find public transport or a taxi easier.
Lipedema specialists are thin on the ground outside London, and a good share of our patients travel in. The pathway is built for that.
Your Care Coordinator call and your initial consultation can both be done remotely. Your surgeon consultation can be by video if a trip to Harley Street is difficult, so in many cases the first time you travel to London is for surgery itself. You stay overnight at Harley Health Village after your procedure, and your Care Coordinator will help you plan the journey home and your follow-up appointments around it.

Lipedema fat is usually symmetrical, affects the legs and often the arms while sparing the hands and feet, and is painful and tender to the touch. It does not respond to diet and exercise the way ordinary fat does, which is why so many women are told to try harder before anyone diagnoses it.
Your surgeon reviews your symptom history, examines the affected areas, confirms whether you have lipedema and at what stage, and explains what treatment would involve. You leave with a clear plan and a written quote, then have two weeks to think it over.
